Why wouldn’t you candy bacon? 🙂 Enough said.
This can be added to many recipes as a partner in crime or eaten alone (when I make these, I just snack on them in the kitchen like chips!) 🙂
1/2 cup brown sugar
~15 slices bacon (can be turkey or regular bacon!)
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
Dredge both sides of each piece of bacon in the brown sugar.
Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil (much easier for clean-up later when the drippings fall!). Place a cooling rack on the lined baking sheet. Put bacon on rack and roast in oven for 20 minutes, or until desired crispiness.
Let drain for a few minutes on the rack and serve!
